APAC Marketing Communications Manager

Job Description

We’re looking for an innovative and detail-oriented individual to join our global team as the APAC Marketing Communication Manager. The APAC Marketing Communications Manager will support, implement, and manage the external and internal APAC marketing communications activities by working closely with Marketing, HR, Business Development, and other internal departments. A strong focus of this role will be on internal and external communications, APAC content and asset creations that are aligned with our global brand guidelines and global marketing strategy. The overall responsibilities of this role include the planning and management of external and internal APAC marketing, event and communications activities including public relations, social media and ongoing management of the companies’ brand in the APAC region, ensuring marketing and communication projects are completed on time and within budget. She/he will also support, direct, measure, and report the impact of the Quasar marketing communication programs.

Position Location


  • Work closely with the Global Marketing Director to create and manage a targeted APAC marketing and communications strategy and mapping out the tasks needed to implement that strategy/global strategy
  • Lead and/or manage all internal & external marketing communications efforts for the APAC region; align with global marketing team its brand and strategy and support other global marketing projects
  • Strategic support and management of all APAC marketing communications channels (online/offline) with a focus on communications, content, positioning, messaging, and brand consistency
  • Manage digital marketing platforms such as Baidu, WeChat, and other relevant channels including content development and campaign management
  • Drive and manage all website projects and updates for the Chinese and Japanese websites including
  • SEO, content, translations, and messaging in coordination with global marketing
  • Manage and execute all trade shows and events for the APAC region and support global efforts
  • Support APAC-related MAH and marketing research, company surveys and support global efforts
  • Partner with internal functional groups to ensure APAC marketing communications activities are integrated across the organization and its global marketing efforts
  • Manage and track annual marketing communications budget/expenditures for the APAC region and align with the overall global marketing budget
  • Track and report the progress of marketing, event, and communication initiatives, analyze results, develop processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and ROI
  • Source and manage vendors and agencies on an as-needed basis for the APAC region
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management


  • 4-7+ years of proven work experience as a Marketing Communication Manager, Communications Manager, Marketing Communications Specialist, or similar role; Global experience a plus
  • Deep understanding of B2B communications and marketing, internal and external, traditional and emerging channels
  • Proven experience developing, managing, and executing integrated marketing communications programs for the APAC regions with a strong focus on communications
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines to deliver on objectives with a proactive communication approach
  • Strong communications and content marketing skills from development to execution; PR a plus
  • First-hand experience in HubSpot, WordPress or other digital marketing, CRM or CMS platform; great MS Office experience necessary
  • Experience managing global websites and content management software
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills with the ability to balance multiple deadlines to deliver on objectives with a proactive communication approach
  • Able to work effectively in a single contributor role and global team setting given the high pressure and complex global business environment
  • Outstanding verbal, and written communication skills; Chinese, English a must, Japanese a plus
  • Prior experience Medical Device and/or CDMO, Contract Manufacturing preferred
  • BS in marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field
  • Some travel within the US, Europe, APAC and other regions for business purpose may be required
  • Flexibility of working hours due to the international nature of the organization required
